                           I am short on time
                         And not full of ideas.
                         So this will be brief.

                         I've noticed this year
                      A lot more hatred, more bile,
                          More darkness around.

                          Throughout the fandom
                         It permeated all sides
                           Leaving bitterness.

                          We must rise above,
                      Strive to do better this year
                         And all that follow.

                          I've seen it happen.
                      Saw hatred replaced by good.
                          A family regained.

                           So let's all try.
                       Let's make the fandom fun.
                          We can make it work.

                           I will try this year.
                       I hope you all will join me.
                            So long and adieu.
